While the computer might be the focus of your working world, taking advantage of all of the personal benefits of working at home offers. There is money to be made, and PC operations are worthy of conversation, but the following benefits, when taken advantage of, can make your life a whole lot better.

1. Fit work into your play schedule. Take advantage of the fact that you can schedule your work at any time and actually schedule it. Your day will go a lot better knowing that your career is tidily put away in a closed laptop on the shelf like clockwork every night, try not to break the schedule (deadline emergencies are not 100% avoidable), and enjoy the time you have away from your work. When you keep your business out of your personal relationships (husband/wife partnerships are another story), it makes the lack of a commute home to them a blessing, if you don't, you could have just forced your family to move into your office.
